Membership in L2L® gives you instant access, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,  365 days a year to the services landlords and property managers must have to make better tenant decisions including information regarding collections, credit, background, previous rental activities, and criminal records.

L2L® has developed a nationwide network for Large Apartment Community managers, as well as the individual landlords and independent owners of small to medium sized properties. L2L is committed to providing the most comprehensive one stop source of tenant screening information in the nation for all property owners.

L2L® has created a better reporting facility that is changing our industry by setting and maintaining the highest standards of accurate and thorough tenant investigations. Membership in the L2L RenterNet allows all landlords to develop organizations within their own rental areas so landlords will have a common reporting network that will allow the whole group to share renter history, easily and in real time.

Landlord2Landlord has a one-time set-up fee of $75.00. We have NO monthly minimums, NO yearly renewal fees. After the one-time set-up fee, you will ONLY be billed for the reports that you process.

 We will automatically bill your credit card this set-up fee after we receive, process, and approve your membership application. In order to process your membership application, in a timely manner, please make sure that all of the necessary information is completed and submitted. Most requests for membership can be processed in two to three business hours and you will receive your user name, password, and other documents by facsimile and Email.

Landlord2Landlord provides our clients with private credit information and very sensitive personal information. To activate an account, Landlord2Landlord is required by the credit bureaus and FCRA Compliance to verify our clients’ identity using standard screening practices. Landlord2Landlord maintains a strict Privacy Policy with all clients. Client information is locked and secured will not be shared or disclosed to any outside Parties or Agencies.

Requirements for membership

 

Owner of the rental property: to complete the Landlord2Landlord membership registration process online you will need to have a printer attached and provide us with the following information:

  •  Property owner’s first name, last name, address, city, state, and zip code. Your listed phone and facsimile numbers, (if phone or cell numbers are unlisted we will need a copy of a current phone or cell bill), Email address, social security number, date of birth, billing contact, bank routing ID and account numbers. Federal law requires Landlord2Landlord to verify that you are who you say you are and have a permissible purpose (reason) to access someone’s credit information. 
  •  Property name, address, city, state, zip code, total number of properties you own and the total number of rental units.
  • Name and phone number of three industry related business references. Examples are realtors, contractors, electricians, remodeling companies, plumbers, painters, utility companies, etc.
  •  Credit card information required for billing one-time set-up fee and any reports processed.

 

Property Management Company/Corporation

If you are applying for membership into the Landlord2Landlord RenterNet and you are a Property Management Company/Corporation, Landlord2Landlord will need to confirm:

  • The stated permissible purpose for obtaining consumer reports is appropriate for the type of business conducted by Landlord2Landlord.
  • Business checking account is active and valid.
  • Business vendor references are valid.
  • Business phone numbers are listed and valid.
  • Property Management company/corporation is not listed as an unauthorized user to access consumer reports by any credit bureaus alerts or reports.
  • Internet web page check.
  • Valid Management Company/Corporation by asking for any one of the following documents: Contract between the Management Company/Corporation and a representative property owner whom the Management Company manages property OR blank contract and an existing client reference OR business report.
  • Management Company/Corporation has Landlord2Landlord conduct an onsite inspection for access to Equifax and Experian credit information.

To sign in online, connect your printer and fill out the online application.  After completing the application, you will asked to print the signature page, credit card billing authorization form, and supporting documents (listed on page 4 of 4 of the forms you print) Next, complete and sign the membership agreement and automatic credit card billing authorization form and FAX to Landlord2Landlord at 770-516-2192. It will take approximately two to three business hours to verify the information and set-up your account to grant you access to process your rental applications and retrieve your reports.
